Rodney Wright began his healthcare career in 1986 as a data entry clerk for a national hospital chain — a humble start that would evolve into more than three decades of hands-on experience across virtually every segment of the industry. From acute care hospitals and physician practices to specialty pharmacy, home infusion, and retail, Rodney built a comprehensive understanding of how healthcare organizations operate, where they struggle, and what it takes to improve their financial performance.

He spent the majority of his career in the Home Infusion segment, where he rose to Vice President of Reimbursement and Patient Financial Services — a role he held at all three of the largest home infusion providers in the country.



In 2013, Rodney founded TANYR Healthcare, a national outsourcing and consulting firm specializing in revenue cycle solutions. Over the next twelve years, TANYR grew into a trusted partner for healthcare organizations seeking to strengthen their financial performance. He successfully exited TANYR in 2025 to focus exclusively on what had become his driving purpose: transforming the way healthcare organizations manage the revenue cycle through better technology.

That technology is R2. Originally developed for internal use at TANYR, R2 quickly proved its value in ways that went beyond what any existing solution could offer. Rodney and his co-founders recognized that what they had built deserved a broader stage — and R2 Health was born.

The vision driving R2 Health is straightforward: bring together deep healthcare expertise and purpose-built technology to give providers the tools they need to streamline operations, accelerate reimbursement, and deliver a better experience for patients at every financial touchpoint.
